Privacy policy

Ludea is made for children, so it collects almost nothing: no account, no form, no cookie, no tracker, no advertising. This page explains, in detail, the little personal data involved and your rights (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”).

1. Who is the data controller?

NORRECRAFT, simplified joint stock company with a sole shareholder, registered with the Registry of Trade and Companies of Paris under the number 843 666 637, whose registered office is at 59 Boulevard Exelmans, 75016 Paris, France (“we”).

2. The website and the games: nothing collected

3. When you write to us

If you email hello@ludea.ai, we process your email address, your name if you give it and your message, to answer you (our legitimate interest in answering your requests). They are kept for the time needed to handle your request, then for at most 3 years after our last exchange. Our email is provided by Google (Google Workspace).

4. Creators who publish a game

When a creator asks for their game to join the catalogue, we process the name or pseudonym they choose to be credited with, their GitHub username and the game's public repository, to review the game, display the credit on its card and keep a record of the review (performance of the request they made, and their consent to the hosting of their game). Publication requests and engine reports are made on GitHub and are public; GitHub's own privacy statement applies to GitHub accounts. Data is kept as long as the game is in the catalogue; the creator can ask for its removal at any time.

A child who made the game. A child who created a game with an adult can be credited on its card and in the game, by a first name or a nickname only chosen by them — never a surname, an age, a school, a town or a photo. This is done only with the agreement of the child and of a parent or legal guardian, given by the adult who submits the game (for a child under 15, French law requires both). The credit is shown for as long as the game is in the catalogue; the child or a parent can ask for its removal at any time, by writing to hello@ludea.ai — we remove it from the card and from our copy of the game without delay, and the game can stay published under the adult's credit.

Games published by their creators elsewhere. A game made with the Ludea engine and published by its creator on their own site (outside ludea.ai) is not published by Ludea: its creator is responsible for it. Its own legal notice says so, and states what the engine guarantees: the game collects nothing; only the host (GitHub) processes technical data such as IP addresses.

5. Recipients and transfers outside the EU

Only our team has access to your messages, plus our providers (Google for email, GitHub for hosting and public contributions), and, where applicable, public bodies to comply with our legal obligations. These providers may process data outside the European Union; transfers are covered by a European Commission adequacy decision or by the Commission's standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to give instructions about your data after your death. Write to hello@ludea.ai or to NORRECRAFT – Ludea, 59 Boulevard Exelmans, 75016 Paris; we may ask you for information to confirm your identity. You can also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).

7. Changes

We may update this policy; significant changes will be announced on this site. In force since 18 October 2026; updated on 19 October 2026 (child co-authors, games published elsewhere).
